Christmas Celebration

This year we were able to celebrate Christmas twice. We spent part of the weekend at Oma and Opa's house opening gifts and having Christmas Dinner which included a well decorated, traditional Chirstmas Log for dessert. The kids were given a special treat the next morning with Oma's homemade crepes for breakfast!

Christmas morning the kids ran down the stairs to see what Santa had brought them. The rest of the morning was spent with Grandma and Grandpa opening and playing with their new toys! Brian and Wendy joined us for lunch and Brian finally got the OU jacket he had been waiting for!

We had a great Christmas break and enjoyed seeing all of the family.

Thanksgiving at Myrtle Beach

The kids enjoying some beach time at Myrtle Beach. Weather was fair but it did not stop the kids from exploring the beach. The rest of their time was spent swimming in the indoor lazy river and visiting the Bass Pro Shop to climb on boats and ATVs.

Freeman Farm

Visit to Freeman Farm to pick our pumpkins with Oma and Opa. The family went on a hayride, fed the barnyard animals, and picked the perfect pumpkins.

Canada Fishing Trip

I was able to join Ron and Darryl in their annual fishing trip to Spanish Ontario. We had great weather and the best fishing they have ever seen. My fish is the small one on the board!

The Three Amigos were supposed to be washing Dad's car. Things got a little out of hand. What fun!

First Day of School

Chloe and Noah's first day of school. Caleb joined in but decided to stay home to help out Mom!

Chicago Air Show

The family took a quick weekend trip to Chicago before the kids needed start school. While in Chicago we were able to go to the Air Show with Tom's family to watch all sorts of planes including Noah's favorite, the Blue Angels. We also hung out at Navy Pier and the Children's Museum. Chloe and Mom had an afternoon tea and fashion show at the American Girl store - Chloe came back with her arms full of merchandise! Caleb's favorite part of the trip was hopping in and out of the cabs.
